My Honest Affilimate Review: Is Affilimate Worth It for Bloggers?
READY TO BOOST YOUR AFFILIMATE MARKETING EFFORTS?
When my affiliate marketing efforts began to bring in a good amount of revenue, I realized I needed a more sophisticated set of tools to keep pace with my growing business.
I began searching and stumbled upon Affilimate — which has become one of my favorite affiliate marketing tools. Why?
Because I made 31.6% more affiliate income within three months of using Affilimate.
🤑 Ready to get started with Affilimate? Use this link to sign up.
Today, I average more than $40K per month in affiliate income alone, and I owe a ton of my affiliate marketing success to Affilimate.
In fact, before I started using it, I was making less than half of what I am now 🤯
If you’re considering Affilimate, you’re in the right place.
I have been using it since 2020, and wrote this in-depth Affilimate review to help you decide if it’s the right tool for you too, so let’s dive in.
My Honest Affilimate Review
What is Affilimate?
Affilimate is a comprehensive platform that not only consolidates all my affiliate marketing data but also offers invaluable insights that helped increase my earnings immediately.

In plain English, I call it the “Google Analytics of affiliate data” thanks to the insane amount of data it gives bloggers.
With features like link tracking, detailed reporting, and heat maps, Affilimate provided the next-level functionality I needed to take my affiliate revenue to the next level.
Affilimate is a tool for affiliate marketers that strives to unlock your blog’s affiliate income. It says it can increase the revenue of each article by 2X-10X — and I have seen this happen on some of my blog posts.
Affilimate does this with unparalleled data analysis, aggregation, and reports that are easy to read.
(If you’re wondering Why can’t I get this data from my affiliate programs directly? Sadly, they don’t provide it 😢)
Affilimate integrates with a bunch of the top affiliate platforms, so you can track the performance of all of your clicks and conversions in one place.
This tool allows bloggers and business owners to see which posts have the highest conversion rates, so you spend your time making the correct adjustments to the correct posts to increase the earning of multiple affiliate offers and links.
My Honest Affilimate Review
Who is Affilimate for?
While it’s ultimately up to you to decide when you’re ready to invest in affiliate marketing software, I’d say that if you’ve been blogging for a while and have some money to invest — Affilimate is for you.

Affilimate is the perfect tool for bloggers and other publishers who write articles with affiliate links and want to get more out of their time and affiliate marketing efforts.
If you are a seasoned blogger, you know that blogs eventually reach a point where it’s challenging to connect the dots between your affiliate partners across hundreds (if not thousands) of posts.
Affilimate is perfect for bloggers at this point in their journey who have some experience running online sites.
It solves this problem with easy-to-read, accurate, and convenient analytics which help optimize your affiliate marketing strategy.
❌ If you’re a brand new blogger or don’t have some room in your budget to invest in premium paid tools — Affilimate might not be for you.
I say that if you have 1) less than 10,000 pageviews per month, 2) less than 50 blog posts, or 3) are earning less than $500 per month from affiliate marketing — the benefits of Affilimate may not justify the monthly cost.
✔️ However, with the Affilimate FREE trial, I still recommend you check it out because there’s no risk and no credit card required.
I recommend smaller blogs should focus on increasing pageviews and clicks before investing in an affiliate marketing tool. (💡 Note: I have this Updating Old Posts Masterclass perfect for people at this blogging stage!)
Also, if you have less than 50 posts on your site, you can get most of the information you need from Google Search Console for free.
The real benefits of using Affilimate come when you have a large amount of affiliate platforms and statistics to sift through.

Why I Love Affilimate: My Affilimate Review

Looking for Affilimate reviews? Then you’re in the right place!
As you can see in the image above, I have a featured testimonial on the Affilimate website.
As a top earner, they asked me for this, and I was happy to oblige because I love Affilimate!
Why do I love it so much? Because it works — and I have made a TON more money using it. Here are the numbers:
- I started using Affilimate in July 2022, and I made $12,722 with affiliate marketing that month.
- I collected data throughout July and August, and in September, implemented changes based on that data.
- By the end of October 2022, I had earned $16,743 with affiliate marketing — an amount of earnings that more than paid for the tool and a 31.6% increase in my affiliate income in three month’s time 🤯
I attribute so much of this income growth to using the data I collected from Affilimate because it was all I used to make adjustments to my blog posts.
My Honest Affilimate Review
How I Use Affilimate to Earn More
Using one of my favorite features in Affilimate, the Affilimate Heat Map, I was able to see some small tweaks I could make that took me seconds — and resulted in an immediate increase in my income! Here’s an example:
On some of my “best hotels in X” and “best tours in X” blog posts (and really, all listicle style posts) the Heat Maps showed me that the hotel or tour I have listed as #3 was generating more bookings than my #1 option.
With this data, all I had to do was move the #3 option into the #1 spot, and my income increased right away 🪄 like magic!
(Note: There are MANY other ways to use the tool, and that’s just one example.)

Best Affilimate Features and Functionality

🏆 Here’s WHY I RECOMMEND affilimate
While I so wish affiliate programs offered affiliate marketers the data we need, sadly, most only provide the bare minimum.
This is where Affiliamate comes in — as Affilimate offers a variety of helpful features.
Its platform compiles all your content analytics into one dashboard, showing you side-by-side comparisons of your affiliate links, their CTR (click-through rate), and the estimated earnings of each link.
After you purchase and log into Affilimate, you can integrate each affiliate platform you use on your website.
1. Helpful Link Tracking Feature
Affiliate link tracking is easy because you can track clicks on individual links, page performance, and conversions across multiple affiliate platforms like Amazon Associates, Commission Junction (CJ Affiliate) and more.
Affilimate also provides you with loads of additional data to help you discover which affiliate marketing strategy works best for you.
My Honest Affilimate Review
2. Affiliate Dashboard
The Affilimate dashboard is the first thing you will see each time you log in, and it’s where you will see an overview of all your affiliate earnings in one convenient place.
You’ll use the Dashboard to see monthly earnings for your affiliate site, daily earnings/clicks, and top content (by earnings and clicks).
You can adjust this to reflect a single day, week, month, year-to-date (YTD), or even all-time statistics.
Also, if you have more than one website connected to Affilimate, you will see a comparison breakdown of each website’s income.
My Honest Affilimate Review
3. Content Analytics
The Content Analytics section is the most valuable part of Affilimate (IMO) and is where you will likely spend most of your time.
It allows you to gain deeper insight into what types of content, affiliate products, and page elements generate the most revenue.
You can track clicks on your blog’s highest-converting URLs and analyze which pages perform best.
My Honest Affilimate Review
4. URL Analysis
Or you can click on a specific URL and see detailed statistics of each link within each post (which is AWESOME).
I’ve been able to find out so many valuable insights about how my links perform.
This specific URL analysis is also where you will find trends and heat maps. You’ll also be able to monitor the individual performance of each link on the page.
You can analyze each individual anchor text and see which links get the most clicks from mobile users vs. desktop users.
All of this information helps bloggers create the perfect content marketing campaign.
You can see what’s working best with your audience and replicate it across your site, which has been shown to increase total commission up to 10X 🤯
My Honest Affilimate Review
5. Affiliate Link Management
The Affilimate link management section shows the clicks, conversation rate, and estimated earnings from each affiliate link on your site.
You can use it to see which platforms or experiences perform best and adjust your content accordingly.
🤔 how link management works
For example, suppose I have an article about the best hotels in Paris, and I have affiliate links within the post to Booking.com, Expedia, and Agoda.
In that case, this section of Affilimate will show me which company gets the highest click-through rates and most affiliate conversions for my website.
Now, I know precisely which companies my readers trust and prefer booking through.
The tool also can detect broken links or links that receive no conversions at all, so you can remove them and replace them with higher-performing links.
My Honest Affilimate Review
5. Revenue Attribution
The Revenue Attribution feature is a more in-depth look at conversions for your blog or online business.
🤑 why revenue attribution is helpful to bloggers
Instead of simply offering a tool to track site visitors, Affilimate can follow the specific actions that lead to that revenue.
It can calculate a surprisingly accurate estimate of how much income is generated from each link or article on your page.
For me, this is very helpful to assess periodically.
Once I know which platforms generate the most income, I can take the time to create a strategy for how to market my affiliates for higher conversion rates.
I can also decide which posts to prioritize moving forward and use the better-performing platforms more often in my blog posts.
My Honest Affilimate Review
6. Heat Maps: My Favorite Affilimate Feature

The Heat Maps feature on Affilimate shows you a visible breakdown of which links drive the most clicks.
This data is displayed in an easy-to-read format, allowing users to quickly identify which links are converting and which links may need to be tweaked or removed completely.
- 🔴 Red circles will hover above the links that led to conversions/sales. The larger red circles indicate where the most conversions came from — but any red circle indicates a sale was made using that link.
- 🔵 Blue circles will hover over the places where someone clicked but that click didn’t result in a sale. The larger blue circles indicate a lot of clicks, and smaller blue bubbles show your lesser-clicked links and least-clicked links.
You will see the heat map displayed on your articles in real time, so it’s easy to grasp where you should place your call-to-action and internal links in the text for optimal performance.
This feature is also great for identifying and replacing links that don’t convert and simply distract from your real money-makers.
My Honest Affilimate Review
7. Revisions History

Another aspect of the content section is a breakdown of your analytics before and after you revise or update a particular article.
🏆 why I love affilimate’s revisions feature
This is another one of my favorite tools because it takes the guesswork out of changing copy, call links, and buttons on your website.
If you make a revision or change a call link, you can easily see how any changes affect your page.
You’ll get side-by-side comparisons of before and after the revisions regarding daily pageviews, Page CTR (Click through Rate), EPC (Earnings per click), and RPM (your estimated revenue per 1,000 pageviews).
💡 Note: Affilimate can read imported data from up to one year ago on their basic plans, but it can only track clicks and CTR after you have signed up and integrated your website.
So although this is one of the best features, you won’t have much data to work with right away.
However, after a few months with Affilimate and a couple of revisions, you will notice some trends.
My Honest Affilimate Review
8. Team Members

Afilimate has the capability to add team members to your account as long as you have a higher-end subscription (Portfolio/Media Publisher).
If you do have the larger plan, you can add team members, and if you are a larger Media Publisher, you can assign custom user roles to each team member.
They can be Admin Users with full access, Tools Users with limited access, or simply Viewers with view-only access.
My Honest Affilimate Review
9. Affilimate Integrations

Affilimate’s integration suite has about 100 affiliate program integrations — with plans to add more in the future.
Of course, there could be even more than 100 because many of these integrations are affiliate networks, like AWIN, Skimlinks, Partnerize and Commission Junkie, have many affiliate partners within their platform.
🤔 what other affiliate programs does affilimate integrate
There are also plenty of individual affiliate programs they can integrate with, such as Travelpayouts, Viator, Booking.com, Agoda, Tapfiliate, Bluehost, Express VPM, and Rentalcars.com.
Some of these are automatic integrations, where you will log into your 3rd-party account through Affilimate, giving them access to track conversions automatically (both confirmed and pending).
For others, you must upload the conversions/bookings CSV file each month with your statistics to see their relationship to the clicks on your website.
The nice part is there are clear instructions for uploading statistics for each platform.
My Honest Affilimate Review
Affilimate Pricing and Plans

As for pricing, Affilimate is not the cheapest tool for those just getting started with affiliate marketing.
However, the nice part is that it grows with your blog, and the pricing will pay for itself multiple times over — as mentioned, you can start your FREE trial now (no credit card required) to test it out before you commit.
💰 Affilimate pricing plan
Affilimate pricing has switched to an income-based strategy. There are two plans:
- Solo Creator Plan: $99/month ($82/month billed annually) — For creators making less than $25,000 in commissions/month and have less than 1,000,000 pageviews/month
- Media Companies Plan: $374/month ($311/month billed annually) — For creators making more than 25,000 in commissions/month or have more than 1,000,000 pageviews/month)
Each plan offers the same tools, but there is some variance regarding the amount of historical data, number of websites, number of integrations allowed, and the ability to add team members.
🏆 variations in affilimate’s plans
- The Solo Creator Plan offers up to five websites, 50 network integrations, and 24 months of historical data.
- The Media Companies Plan is for large teams with up to 10 websites and unlimited integrations. They also give you 48 months of historical data, you get to add team members, and you have priority support from the Affilimate team.
💰 Old Affilimate pricing plan
The pricing used to be entirely based on pageviews, but this is NOT the case today. It used to look like this:
- $29/month for 100,000 pageviews
- $59/month for 250,000 pageviews
- $99/month for 500,000 pageviews
- $199/month for 1,000,000 pageviews
- $399/month for 2,000,000+ pageviews
🤔 what I think about this new pricing
In my opinion, the current structure is not quite as good for medium-sized bloggers with 100,000-250,000 pageviews because they no longer have the option to pay $59/month for Affilimate.
However, for bloggers with more than 250,000 monthly pageviews (like myself), this has benefited me.
It allows me to stay at $99/month until I reach 1,000,000 monthly pageviews, instead of being required to upgrade to a new plan at 500,000 monthly pageviews.

Affilimate Pros and Cons
Affilimate is a wonderful tool for affiliate marketing, and I have made so much more affiliate income (like tens of thousands of dollars more 💸) thanks to its features.
However, nothing is perfect, and there are pros and cons of Affilimate to consider.
Here are the most relevant reasons that I love the platform, as well as some of the most apparent drawbacks I have noticed.
My Honest Affilimate Review
Pros of Affilimate
- It’s easy to set up: The Affiliate set-up is quick and takes only a few minutes because all you have to do is install the code and then add the programs you use to your dashboard. If you ever want to stop using it, you’ll simply remove the code.
- It’s easy to use: It doesn’t take a long time to learn how to navigate the platform, and I can quickly find the analytics I’m looking for every time I log on.
- 100+ integrations: While it doesn’t have every affiliate network or platform I use, it has most of them — and I can still gather insight on CTR for the affiliate links that don’t integrate with Affilimate.
- Pricing plans for anyone: Affilimate is a company that grows with you. As a beginner, you don’t have to pay for things you don’t need.
- Comprehensive metrics: The tracking capabilities are unmatched for comparing CTR, Conversions, and earned revenue. It makes creating an affiliate marketing strategy for blogs and businesses so easy!
- Affilimate blog and help articles: All plans have access to Affilimate’s blog. as well as the helpful article library that’s part of the dashboard. These have answers to frequently asked questions so you can get easy answers right away.
My Honest Affilimate Review
Cons of Affilimate
- Not designed for E-commerce or Ads: Affiliate is incredible for affiliate marketing, especially for bloggers, but it doesn’t do everything. You will have difficulty seeing analytics for ecommerce or advertisements through this tool.
My Honest Affilimate Review
Affilimate Competitors & Similar Tools

Looking for tools similar to Affilimate, and some comparisons with competitors?
While there are a couple of other tools that compete with Affilimate, they often prioritize other content analytics or offer different tools for people running online businesses.
💻 affilimate’s competitors
One of the biggest competitors for Affilimate is Trackonomics.
It is similar, but built with large enterprises and massive media outlets in mind, like Android Authority, American Media, and Buzzfeed.
The audience is clear from the pricing, which is way higher than Affilimate.
Other tools, like ClickMagick and Hyros, offer less affiliate tracking information but more options for tracking Ads and Ecommerce conversions.
Affilimate is only optimized to track revenue generation from affiliate income.
🏆 why I prefer Affilimate
Affilimate is easier to navigate, more affordable for beginners, and makes it easier to understand what exactly is working in your affiliate marketing campaign.
The HeatMaps, the ability to generate links within the platform, and the precise performance analysis before vs. after revisions are what sets it apart from other tools.
This lets me use it to level up my content marketing strategy and improve my affiliate income and Google Analytics.

Affiliate Marketing Guide & FAQ

What is affiliate marketing?
Affiliate marketing is a type of performance-based marketing where an affiliate (the content creator or publisher) is paid a commission for referring customers or visitors to a merchant, advertiser or company.
The affiliate earns a commission for each referral, typically based on the number of sales, clicks, or sign-ups generated from the referral.
Affiliate sales are generally tracked using affiliate links, which contain a unique tracking code that allows the affiliate to track and monitor their referrals.
With affiliate marketing, there are little to no upfront costs for either the advertiser or the publisher, so it’s a great starting point for making money without spending in advance.
While affiliate marketing may feel daunting at first, and the thought of selling to your readers may seem uncomfortable, it’s one of the most reliable and natural ways to monetize your blog.
Affiliate marketing doesn’t have to be salesy and pushy — you can find companies that align with your blog’s values and promote them in an authentic way.
If you’ve ever used a product or service and then recommended it to friends and family, you’ve essentially done affiliate marketing without even realizing it.
You’ve already proven you have what it takes to be an affiliate marketer and start monetizing your travel blog (or travel blogs if you have more than one).
My Honest Affilimate Review
What is a travel affiliate program?
A travel affiliate program is a type of affiliate program specifically for bloggers and influencers in the travel niche.
Through these programs, you can earn commissions for referring customers and visitors to partner companies such as airlines, hotels, tour operators, and more.
Travel affiliates may also receive exclusive discounts or perks for themselves or their readers.
This can be an excellent way to demonstrate the value of travel products or services to your readers while also earning commissions.
Travel is one of the top niches for affiliate marketing, with many great programs to choose from.
Of course, be sure to do your research and pick the one(s) that fit with your blog’s values and audience.

My Honest Affilimate Review
How do I become a travel affiliate marketer?
The first step to becoming a travel affiliate is to find the right programs for your blog or social following.

Once you’ve chosen the right ones, you can request to sign up.
Some programs have stipulations before they approve you, like a minimum traffic number of monthly visitors to your site.
However, many don’t and should approve in a few days or a week (sometimes longer).
After you’re approved, you can start promoting their products or services through deep links, banner ads, or other promotional materials they provide you with.
Once you’ve chosen the right ones, you can request to sign up.
When choosing an affiliate program, be sure to pay attention to any requirements such as minimum sales thresholds or restrictions on content or promotion methods.
You’ll also want to make sure you read the terms and conditions of each program carefully before signing up.
Some programs may not allow certain types of promotion or may require you to make specific types of disclaimers to your readers.
The key to success with affiliate marketing is to be honest and transparent with your readers by using disclaimers.
You’ll also only want to be promoting high-quality products that you genuinely believe in.
This way, you can foster trust and loyalty among your followers while earning commissions for yourself.
My Honest Affilimate Review
How do affiliate programs help travel bloggers?
Affiliate programs can provide travel bloggers with a great way to monetize their blog or social media following.
Through affiliate marketing, you can earn commissions for referring customers and visitors to partner companies in the travel industry.
Recommending the best travel affiliate products for your readers helps you to satisfy user intent and build trust with your followers, all while monetizing your blog.
Additionally, many affiliate programs offer exclusive discounts or perks to bloggers that can help you stand out from the competition.
These discounts may be passed on to your readers as well, adding even more value to their experience.
Affiliate marketing for travel bloggers is often the most lucrative monetization strategy, but it’s much more than simply adding a few text links to your content.
I teach bloggers how to find keywords with big potential to earn affiliate income in my How to Find Affiliate Marketing Keywords Class.
My Honest Affilimate Review
How do bloggers get affiliates?
Finding affiliates to promote to your audience is quite simple and starts with understanding your readers’ needs and desires.

Consider the issues that your readers face as they travel to your target destinations.
Assess what products and services could help mitigate these struggles and look for affiliates to match them.
By doing so, you can provide immense value to your readers while building a lucrative revenue stream through affiliate marketing.
Once you have identified the right affiliates, reach out and inquire about their program.
Many companies have an online application process that you can complete to become approved as an affiliate.
Other times, you may need to contact a representative directly if the company does not yet have an established program.
My Honest Affilimate Review
What is an affiliate marketing cookie?
An affiliate marketing cookie is a small piece of data stored on an internet user’s computer when they click a link or advertisement leading to the website of an affiliate partner.
The cookie allows the advertiser to track purchases and activities of the customer over time, even after they leave the site.
This allows advertisers to reward affiliates for any purchases that their readers make as a result of their link or advertisement.
Affiliate cookies last anywhere from 1 to 365 days (or longer), depending on the program. The majority of them offer a 30 day cookie, which seems to be the industry standard.
Two of my favorite programs, Discover Cars (rental cars) and SafetyWing Travel Insurance, both offer 365 day cookies.
However, the Amazon and Booking.com affiliate programs only offer a 1 day cookie — though they tend to convert very well, since these are trusted brands.
Most of the best travel affiliate marketing programs use cookies to track sales, as they provide an accurate way to measure the success of each partner’s efforts.
My Honest Affilimate Review
How do I pick the right travel affiliate programs?
You’ll want to look for programs that offer generous commission rates, easy tracking and reporting systems, and a wide variety of products or services that align with your audience’s needs.
Choosing the right travel affiliate program for your blog can be both exciting and daunting — so here is an example to help make some sense of it.
If you’re in the luxury travel niche, you can find a variety of luxury travel affiliate programs through some popular affiliate networks, like the Plum Guide Affiliate Program. They bill themselves as an upscale Airbnb.
If you’re in the budget-friendly travel niche, luxury programs won’t suit your audience, and you’ll instead want to stick with what you know your readers will be interested in, like the HostelWorld Affiliate Program.
Additionally, one of the most important things to look for is programs that have a positive reputation and an active community of affiliate marketers.
This way, you know your readers get quality products, and you’ll be paid reliably.
A great way to start affiliate marketing is by signing up for one or two programs of products or services that you already use and would recommend to others.
As you build up your skills and following, you can expand to include more programs to diversify your income streams.
Here are four things to consider when picking the best travel affiliates and best travel affiliate networks to join:
1. What is their cookie policy?

Tracking cookies are an integral part of any affiliate program. Cookies help ensure that you get paid for all the leads and sales generated from your blog.
Every affiliate program should have a clear cookie policy, stating how long their cookies last and what kind of data is collected.
Read each cookie policy carefully and make sure you understand the cookie duration (or cookie window), what happens when customers clear their cookies, and what kind of data is collected through them.
Knowing these details can help you choose the best travel blog affiliate programs and ensure that you get paid for your hard work.
It’s also important that you disclose tracking cookies in your privacy policy and provide the opportunity for your readers to opt out of cookies if they choose to do so. A cookie opt-out pop-up is a great way to tackle this.
2. What are their commission rates?
When selecting the best travel programs for affiliate marketing, commission rates should be high on your priority list.
While there are some pay-per-click travel affiliate programs, most programs pay a percentage of the sale. The exact rate varies depending on the product or service.
Online marketplaces like Booking.com, DiscoverCars.com, and many others that act as a middle-man between you and the companies you are promoting often pay commissions on their portion of profits from the sale.
While the percentage of commission may appear to be higher for these such programs, the actual rate you receive may be lower than that of a direct affiliate program.
Other programs may have tiered commission rates with higher percentages for larger or more sales.
It’s usually worth your time to compare different programs and affiliate networks and find the ones that offer the highest commission rates for the same great products.
This way, you can maximize your earnings from each sale and make sure that your time is spent wisely.
3. Do they have a dedicated Affiliate Manager?

Many travel affiliate programs now offer dedicated affiliate managers who are available to help you promote their products and services.
A good affiliate manager will be able to answer any questions you may have about the program, provide creative assets and tailored promotions for your blog, and help you get the most out of the affiliate program.
Having a dedicated affiliate manager can make it much easier to quickly launch and maximize your campaigns, and can sometimes help you to negotiate higher commission rates based on top performance.
It’s worth considering whether a program has a dedicated affiliate manager when you are making your selection, as this can be a great asset to you.
One of the best ways to increase conversions is to offer your readers a discount code or special offer.
Look for affiliate programs that have regular promotional offers and discount codes, as this can be a great way to increase your affiliate income.
Make sure you check the terms of each offer carefully, as you will be responsible for providing the code and ensuring that it is applied correctly.
Additionally, many programs have restrictions on where they can be advertised, so make sure you read the terms and conditions before promoting any offers.
My Honest Affilimate Review
Is travel a good affiliate niche?
Yes — Travel is one of the most popular and profitable niches for bloggers, especially if you can focus on promoting travel services in a specific destination or for a specific audience.

Doing so can help you scale your readership faster and create content that resonates with your readers.
Travel bloggers tend to enjoy higher engagement and more loyal readers than many other niches, making it a great choice for affiliate marketing.
By targeting the right affiliate keywords and joining relevant, high-converting affiliate programs, you can easily make income from your travel blog while also providing great value to your readers.
My Honest Affilimate Review
What is the best program to promote as an affiliate?
Sourcing the best travel affiliate programs online for your blog begins with you clearly defining your blog’s niche, your audience, their pain points, and their longed-for goals.
Finding lucrative affiliate programs begins with finding ones that are most relevant to your readers, as this will always maximize your chances of making a sale.
After you’ve done that, start sifting through affiliate programs and networks to find those with the highest commission rates and most favorable terms.
It’s also always important to choose programs that have a good reputation and reliable customer service.
This ensures your readers have a great experience, and continue to trust you as an authority in your niche.
My Honest Affilimate Review
Is travel affiliate marketing profitable?
It can be — The travel industry is an incredibly lucrative affiliate market and can be highly profitable for those who know how to market their content correctly.
In fact, affiliate marketing is often the top monetization strategy for travel bloggers, accounting for more than 60% of revenue for many top travel bloggers.
By targeting the right affiliate keywords, implementing marketing best practices, and maintaining the trust of your readers, travel bloggers can earn substantial commissions from their affiliate marketing efforts.
My Honest Affilimate Review
When should I start affiliate marketing?
Immediately (if not sooner) as affiliate marketing is a great way to monetize your blog and generate passive income, and with the right strategies, you can start earning instantly.
Now is the best time to start, as the sooner you begin, the sooner you will find the best methods for successfully marketing to your audience.
Also, joining affiliate networks and programs early on in your blogging career gives you an advantage down the road when it comes to negotiating higher commission rates and better promotional offers.
My Honest Affilimate Review
What are the average affiliate network conversion rates?
Affiliate conversion rates can vary tremendously based on a number of factors, but many affiliates see their programs convert at an average of 1%-3%.
Some programs I use, like the Amazon Affiliate Program (AKA Amazon Associates) tends to convert much higher — with mine averaging about 15%.
This is because Amazon has such a massive customer base, and is a very trusted brand so people don’t hesitate to shop Amazon.
My Honest Affilimate Review
What are the best affiliate programs for travel bloggers?
My #1 recommendation to have all your affiliates in one place is Travelpayouts → Join Travelpayouts here for free.
I recommend Travelpayouts because they’re the best all-in-one affiliate network — and you’ll conveniently have all your affiliates under one dashboard.
You can also join the individual programs mentioned below, which are the same ones I use.
- Discover Cars: Best car rental affiliate program (also on Travelpayouts)
- Safety Wing: Best travel insurance affiliate program
- Viator: Best tours affiliate program (also on Travelpayouts)
- Booking.com: Best hotel affiliate program (they no longer have a direct affiliate programs, so you can join Booking on Travelpayouts)
- Amazon Affiliates: Best affiliate program for physical products
